The evening starts with Cocktail Hour at 6:30 PM. Dinner and the program begin at 8:00 PM. The night will end with our late night party and live entertainment.
No, we do not accept cash at Discovery Ball. Only credit cards and checks will be accepted.
Mobile bidding on cell phones will be used at Discovery Ball. Please be sure to bring your fully-charged cell phone with you.
Yes, donations are being accepting using the JOIN US link at the top of the website. You can also make a donation the night of the event. We do not accept cash for Discovery Ball donations. Only credit cards and checks are accepted.
If you mail in your donation, the American Cancer Society will send you a receipt for your tax records, approximately six weeks after payment is received. If you make a donation online using your credit card, you will be directed to a confirmation page that can be printed for your tax records. In addition, an email will be sent to you that includes a receipt that can be printed for your records.
The Discovery Ball Cleveland supports the American Cancer Society’s Joseph S. and Jeannette M. Silber Hope Lodge in Cleveland. All funds raised through Discovery Ball Cleveland will be restricted to Cleveland Hope Lodge operations. Each American Cancer Society Hope Lodge offers cancer patients and their caregivers a free place to stay when their hope for effective treatment may be in another city. Not having to worry about where to stay or how to pay for lodging allows guests to focus on getting better.
